What We Track

Simple Stock Screener tracks the top 5 biggest gainers, biggest losers, and most active stocks by volume each trading day. Data snapshots are taken twice daily: shortly after market open (~9:45 AM ET) and shortly after market close (~4:15 PM ET), with a 10–15 minute delay from live market prices.

Historical Data

All snapshots are stored and available for review on the Historical page. Select any past trading day to see the top movers at that point in time.

Data Sources

Market data is sourced from public financial APIs. Prices, volume figures, and percentage changes reflect the values reported by those APIs at the time each snapshot is taken.
